Who we are
Diavante ("we", "us") is a web design, development and SEO studio based at bul. Slivnitsa 53, 9000 Varna, Bulgaria. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

The data we collect
We collect personal data in two situations only:
- Contact form. When you send an enquiry through our contact page, we receive the details you type in: your name, email address and message, plus - only if you choose to provide them - your company, phone number, the service you're interested in, your budget range and timeline.
- Analytics and advertising, with your consent. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data about your visit - pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type - and we may use this to measure and personalize advertising, including showing ads to you or similar audiences on other sites (remarketing). If you decline, none of this is collected.
Like almost every website, the infrastructure that serves this site also produces technical server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and delivery purposes.
We do not collect any special categories of data, and this site is not directed at children.
Why we process it
We use the details from your enquiry for one purpose: to reply to you and discuss your project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We use analytics and advertising data to understand how the site is used, improve it, and measure the ads we run. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) - these cookies run only after you accept them, and you can decline with a single click.
Cookies
This site uses two kinds of cookies:
- da-consent - an essential cookie that remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask you on every visit. It stores only the word "granted" or "denied" and expires after 12 months.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies (_ga and similar) - set only if you accept. They help us count visits, understand which pages are useful, and measure and personalize advertising.
To withdraw consent, delete this site's cookies in your browser settings - the banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose differently. Declining cookies does not limit the site in any way.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for marketing beyond what's described below. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Resend - delivers your contact form enquiry to our inbox as an email.
- Google - provides Google Analytics and Google Ads (advertising measurement, remarketing), only if you have accepted cookies.
- Our hosting provider - serves the website and keeps technical logs for security.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are relevant to our correspondence with you, and to any project that follows from it. If you'd like an enquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.
Analytics and advertising data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings and appears to us only in aggregate form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Have your data erased.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@diavante.com - we reply to every request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP, www.cpdp.bg) or your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Substantive changes will be visible here - we don't change this policy quietly.
